If you’re an artist, you need a website. Plain and simple.

You have your Soundcloud account, your Twitter profile, your Facebook page, etc. but nothing says “I take my music seriously” like having a “.com” after your name.

The real decision is how you go about getting your site made. To have someone make you a professional website you’re usually looking at anywhere between $5,000 and $10,000. I figured since we’re already in the business of websites and music, we should start branching out and hook our artists up with the great quality of work that we hold ourselves to, at affordable prices.

A domain name is your web address, for example www.UniversityHype.com is our domain name. We recommend registering your domain name through GoDaddy.

A concept is a hand-crafted design; you tell us what you’re looking for, what you need, etc. and we build a mock-up to show you what it’d look like. Every order comes with one concept. Changes are included, but If you want to see how an entirely new website idea looks, you might want to get at least one additional concept.

We recommend hosting the website on your own server, preferably through Hostgator.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take for someone to get back with me?

Generally we respond to inquiries within 48 hours. However, if one of our designers does not get back to you within 7 days of your request your purchase will be refunded.

How does the design process work?

The first thing we do is get you in touch with one of our designers, who will talk to you about your idea and get a feel for the project. After you have both agreed on a concept, the designer will create a mock-up for you at which point you can request revisions. You are entitled to as many changes as you like, but you will be only be given the opportunity to revise the project a finite number of times depending on your purchase.

What is the average turn around time?

Every project is different, but our designers generally complete projects within 10-15 days after making contact.

What if I am not happy with my final design?

All sales are final, but our goal is to ensure that every customer receives the best service possible. If you feel that our designer(s) did not meet your expectations, we encourage you to contact us at support@universityhype.com

Will UniversityHype help maintain my website?

At the end of the design process, we will give you a brief tutorial on how to maintain and manage the basic functionality of your website. If you need additional assistance, feel free to contact your designer and negotiate a price for the changes.
