Mike has developed a ton as an artist, from smoking hella weed and fucking around with heavy electronic remixes to doing a 5-man acoustic cover to Started From The Bottom, he’s been searching for his niche and ended up making timeless music in the process. You can hate on Mike all you want, but he’s got a huge fan base and the ladies absolutely love him. Regardless of your opinion, check out this new track and hear Mike get back to his electronic roots.

Free Download | Please Don't Go - Mike Posner (Apollo Remix)

I recently just discovered Apollo, comprised of producers Christian Petredis and Marc Raziano from New York City, and I am all about their newest remix. This is the song to play if you’re hanging with friends and you need a good house beat with lyrics that everyone knows. Or if you just want to get yourself pumped up about life. The soaring buildups are so uplifting while the synths in the chorus make you want to get up and dance. It’s a crowd-pleaser for sure, and one that you can add to your collection for free. Check Apollo’s soundcloud for even more house bangers up for free download.

We Own It – Mike Posner, Sammy Adams, T. Mills, & Niykee Heaton

You might remember the Wiz and 2 Chains track We Own It, but you haven’t heard it like this. As Mike Posner continues his remix reign over the rap game, he conquered this track with a little help from some familiar names. All the verses were great, and the vocals were on point. Might not be what you were expecting a remix to this track to sound like, but nothing Mike’s been doing lately has been consistent. Enjoy the free new music.

Here it is, a brand new tape from Cris Cab  just in time for the sunny weather and girls in bikinis to come out. From start to end I was feeling the good vibes in Cris’s voice on this tape. The acoustic/pop/reggae genre he’s pioneered is now almost perfected, and after almost 2 years of listening to him I can see that his career is finally about to blow up. Cop ‘Red Road’ before the radio stations discover his talented crowd pleasing vocals.

Yup, new ish from five well renowned artists. Definitely nothing like Drake’s original single, but the up-beat-feel-good style of Mike Posner is a refreshing change of pace for the track. Give it a listen, download if you dig it.

Ho Hey - Mike Posner

Mike Posner’s twist on the one hit wonder by The Lumineers. Personally I think it would’ve been better if Mike remixed this with more of his techno/dubstep  style, but the smooth vocals and laid back production still works. Not sure how I’m feeling about the new vibe from Mr. Posner as far as the beats he’s been working with goes, but hopefully he’ll find his niche soon and drop a bomb track. Enjoy.

Detroit – Big Sean (Mixtape)

It’s been a year since Big Sean’s last album ‘Finally Famous’, and over 2 years since his last Mixtape… that said, it’s nice to have a fresh batch of songs from the Kanye-sponsored rapper. Hopefully the tape doesn’t disappoint you, it was a little rough in my point of view, but expectations are high now that he’s with G.O.O.D. music.. I was hoping for some more anthems like ‘My Last’ and ‘Ass’ but he went with a different route, featuring small time artists like King Chip, Kendrick Lamar, & French Montana, which made this more of a heavy-rap heavy-beat ridden album. Check it out though, you’re bound to find some tracks you’ll like. I recommend Woke Up, Higher, and Mula. Be easy everyone.
