Ramsay Almighty, who’s sobriquet is now RMSY, has been releasing some great new material lately, especially with the reveal of Hollywood Sign earlier this month. The pop-art style in the track art reflects the upbeat 80’s synth-driven production, encompassing the new route he’s aiming towards with his sound. The dance provoking lyricism plays off the vibe effortlessly, making this yet another hit from the rebranded artist RMSY. Cop the free download and follow him on twitter.
Hollywood Sign is one of the best tracks we’ve heard from Ramsay Almighty, which is hopefully a precedent for his Dear Winter EP dropping sometime this month. Although we’ve unfortunately missed his last few releases, this song depicts the direction of Ramsay’s music perfectly; dark, bass-heavy production highlights the crisp versatility of his voice, which plays into what makes his hooks the driving force behind the track. His efforts to solidify his sound and expand his portfolio have clearly paid off, from working with LA based producer NOVA to collabing on an EP with Dutch producer BoeBoe, Ramsay has truly been on his grind this year. Stay tuned for his EP dropping soon, and be sure to follow him on twitter and check out his soundcloud for the releases we missed.

Canadian rapper Ramsay Almighty came across my inbox this morning, and after watching his new music video I just had to look into him a bit. He’s linked up with Jon Waltz, one of Penthouse music’s latest additions, and actually did the production on “Rear Window” which I posted above. If you’re not already impressed by this rapper/singer/producer, go check out his soundcloud and get a better feel for him. “Vampire” has some nice visuals with a beautiful model as his lyric’s victim. Enjoy the new music, and watch for his not-yet-titled project releasing on October 3rd.
