Stick Talk – Future & Rick Ross

By now I’m sure most of us have listened to Future’s 2015 album Dirty Sprite 2, and if not you need to catch up; the former codeine addict hailing from Atlanta has been putting out hit after hit this year. ‘Stick Talk’ is about the violent, criminal culture that he’s grown up with. From sipping syrup to packing heat, this is a through and through ATL anthem, which makes the Miami-bred (and former peace officer) Rick Ross an unprecedented feature. The remix dropped on Rozay’s soundcloud earlier this week, and I was honestly a little bit hesitant to post it, but I decided to share it mainly because of the fact that this is without a doubt my favorite track that 808 Mafia affiliated producer Southside has ever created. Dreamy synths pan across the track as perfectly arranged percussion rides across organic guitar and piano progressions. Future is still the star of the track, as he usually is on 808 instrumentals, but the addition of Rick Ross makes this song a freebie, and for that we have to salute the Black Bottle King. Cop the free DL and show him some love on Twitter and Soundcloud if you like what you hear.

Black Dollar – Rick Ross (Mixtape)

September 14, 2015

Free Download | Black Dollar - Rick Ross (Mixtape)

With #RozayWeek dominating the internet everywhere the last few days, its only right to cap it off with a new full length project from the MMG front man Rick Ross. The project features some sick features from Meek Mill, Gucci, Future, and a couple more, but all in all the tape is original verses and material from the Black Bottle Boy himself. It’s a hubristic, arrogant rap mixtape, so expect a lot of hard-hitting instrumentals, shallow lyricism, and turn-up anthems. Cop the free download if you like what you hear and be sure to show Ricky Rozay some love on twitter.

All About The Money – Troy Ave, Young Jeezy, & Rick Ross

December 27, 2014

Download All About The Money - Troy Ave, Young Jeezy, & Rick Ross

Today Troy Ave premiered the official remix to his hit single All About The Money, beefing up the lineup with Young Jeezy & Rick Ross in plalce of Young Lito & Manolo Rose. The three well-versed rappers flex on the track as they spit about how many Benjamins they have. Jeezy dubs himself “Mr. Rolex” while Troy Ave waxes about stuntin’ on folks in the old hood, and MMG’s quarterback reminds folks the code of the streets. All in all, the track isn’t too different from the original, but by releasing it for free we’ve seen this version spread like wildfire. Strong verses all around, simple yet haunting production, pay homage to the kings and throw Troy, Jeezy, and Ross a follow on twitter.

Download Often (Remix) - The Weekend, Schoolboy Q, & Rick Ross

With several posts on the site and over 14,000,000 plays on The Weekends soundcloud this track doesn’t really need an introduction. Everything from the lowest level of production to the highest note sang everything was musical ecstasy. Today I present a new twist on an older favorite with Schoolboy and Ricky Rozay each delivering a heavy-weight verse owning the XO artist’s song for their own time. I’m not going to rant just hit that play button if you wanna hear a great track, and make sure to follow The Weekend, Schoolboy Q, and Rick Ross on twitter if you haven’t already. Oh and if you find that the soundcloud link in this post is censored: have no fear, the explicit version is the DL link.

Rich Is Goody - Goody

If you bought Rick Ross’s last album Mastermind than you probably know his notorious track Rich Is Gangster, which in my opinion is the best produced track on the whole project.Well although Goody isn’t as breaded as Rick Ross, he still does a number on this beat and spits a few freestyle bars that’ll keep you nodding til the track fades out. Can’t say I like it better than the original, it’s hard to out-do any major label like MMG on their own beat, but Goody definitely holds his own and gives us something free to bump in the whip. Enjoy, and if you like what you hear be sure to give him a follow on twitter.

Geez, this is going to be blasting in the whip for a good couple of weeks. Just look at who goes in on this tape, Trinidad, Juicy, Wiz, French Montana, Jadakiss, Rick Ross.. the list goes on. Give this tape a listen. Although Curren$y seems to have lost a bit of his dope lyricism on this tape, he brings it back by flowing over some really ill beats. Enjoy.
